OUR DESIGN PROCESS
Elevate Your Space with an Interior Designer
Our process extends from creating custom finish and furniture design plans to managing the procurement process to overseeing the installation to bring your dream home to life.
With the ease and personalised touch of our comprehensive full service interior design, we work to truly understand your needs, style, and how you and your family live within your home; curating hand-crafted pieces that serve as a true reflection of you and your lifestyle.
Initial Exploration
Please give us a call on 07785 792247 or e-mail at anna@annaauzins.co.uk with details regarding your hopes and dreams for your home — this initial step is integral to ensure we’re the right match for your project.
From there we’ll be able to gain a deeper understanding of your project’s intricacies, your aesthetic preferences and functional needs.
In Home Consultation
The in-home consultation is an opportunity for you to meet with Anna where she can see your home, discuss the project scope, and dive into your style preferences. During the consultation, Anna will start with a home tour to identify key areas and gather ideas. This meeting forms the basis for your personalised project proposal encompassing budget, stylistic recommendations, and proposed timeline.
Customised Proposal
Following the consultation, Anna will develop project proposal documents encompassing a recommended budget, scope of work, and some high-level design ideas. This marks the last stage before we begin the interior design process and working together.
Our Design Approach
Once we kick off the design process, our initial focus is developing the design concept. This allows us to fully understand your lifestyle, taste and personality, as well as your functional needs, priorities and budget. We will also attend to the practical aspects of measuring and drawing the spaces, to allow for scale plans to be produced and realistic options to be examined.
From here Anna will craft a tailored presentation for you, facilitating a diverse exploration of choices for each space and presenting carefully curated spatial and decorative schemes for each room.
Through this interactive session we’ll work together to collectively create your home’s new look and feel.
Procurement & Project Management
Post-presentation, Anna will follow up with individual item proposals and specifications for your approval, initiating the ordering phase. Items can be delivered directly to your home, or to a white-glove receiving warehouse where they are kept safe until the official install day. Anna will also at this point provide specifications to builders and tradesmen, and arrange a schedule of works. This will take place during the procurement process while we await your furnishings.
Installation Day
Once the building and decorating work has been done we can bring your new furnishings on site and arrange for everything to be installed. This is the culmination of the design process, the exciting time of seeing our collective vision come together, and see your house truly become the place you want to come home to!
