the brief
We had previously worked with these clients on their living space, now it was the turn of the master ensuite — they were closely involved in the process, very much enjoying choosing materials and getting into the details. They particularly wanted a spacious shower with integrated storage, and a large hammered metal mirror stretching the length of the wall.
THE WHY
Situated at the top of a Victorian terrace, this master shower room reflects the character of the owners — they love colour, quirky accessories and design details. We wanted to bring the same qualities to this space that we had for their living space, particularly noting that this was their personal sanctuary.
THE OUTCOME
Shimmering glass mosaics line the shower and basin area, setting off the hammered silver mirror and cabinet. Discreet lighting in the shower niche adds ambience, and a low shelf provides additional space for luxurious toiletries. Distressed wood tiles keep the feel of the shore, and the bright towels are the perfect contrast. The perfect place to start and end the day!
