Designing a functional workspace within an L shaped room presented a unique challenge in making the most of every inch of available space. The brief was to create an environment that supports productivity while offering generous storage for books and files, all within a setting that feels calm, cohesive, and suitable as a polished Zoom backdrop.

To achieve this, we introduced built in shelving and a streamlined desk along one side of the room, forming a clear and practical working zone. This arrangement ensures that everything needed for day to day tasks is easily accessible, while maintaining a clean and uncluttered appearance.

In addition, a bespoke sideboard was incorporated to provide further storage. This not only increases functionality but also helps to keep the space organised and visually balanced. Opposite the workspace, a cosy armchair creates a softer, more relaxed corner, offering the perfect place to step away from the desk and unwind.

The result is a thoughtfully designed office nook that balances practicality with comfort. Clean lines, integrated storage, and considered furnishings come together to create a space that feels both efficient and inviting, supporting focus while promoting a calm and cosy atmosphere.
