Nestled in Wimbledon Village, this charming apartment eagerly awaited a touch of care and creativity. With its prime location and timeless appeal, this property promised a rewarding renovation opportunity for the owners.

the brief

A fantastic apartment in Wimbledon Village just crying out for some love and attention, as it had been some years since it was built and first decorated.

The layout was perfect, but a complete update was needed. Both bathrooms were to be completely redesigned, and the bright but small kitchen needed reimagining in order to function perfectly.

The lighting was to be updated, and the entire apartment needed to be decorated and furnished to work for our clients’ lifestyle.

THE WHY

It’s a stroke of good fortune to find an apartment in such a fantastic location, which has everything that is needed within walking distance, and a parking space for a car when trips further afield are necessary.

The clients stop here at various times during the year and the apartment needed to make them feel at home right way with minimal maintenance. Structural alternations weren’t necessary, so we could concentrate on making sure every detail of the interior was perfect and said “I’m home” the minute they opened the door.

THE OUTCOME

Taking our cue from treasured artworks, we swept a palette of soft autumnal colours leavened with a bit of pink throughout the apartment.

The dated bathrooms were transformed into luxurious retreats, the kitchen was redesigned to house everything that could be desired, and the bedrooms became inviting havens.

The large living area was furnished with seating and dining areas, always with comfort and practicality in mind. The existing solid wood floor was refinished, lighting planned for every occasion, and fabrics were chosen to tie it all together. Truly a home away from home!
